Memories of Brown Avenue hill

Looking up from bottom of Brown Avenue hill in Milton toward Mahoning Street in 1965. Reader Jim Bolich had the following memory, ‘Brown Avenue Hill, wow! Talk about memories. On a good run from the top of the hill, you could go as far as Center Street. You couldn’t wait to be 12 years old, as this meant you could finally start at the top of the hill instead of the middle of the hill. They would flood what is now the Little League ball field for ice skating.’ Have a local memory you’d like to share? Send us a photo, with caption, to newsroom@standard-journal.com.
