MILTON — Virginia T. “Ginny” Troutman Heddings, 55, of Old Orchard Road, Milton, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008.
Born Dec. 17, 1952, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, she was the daughter of Joyce (Kuhns) Troutman of Dornsife and the later Arthur R. “Bud” Troutman.
She and her husband, Wayne A. Heddings, were married April 6, 2008.
Mrs. Heddings graduated from Line Mountain High School with the Class of 1970. While in high school, she played basketball and softball.
She worked for 31 years at American Home Products (now ConAgra), Milton. For the past five years, she worked for the Milton Area School District in the payroll department. Earlier in her life, she worked at the Selinsgrove Speedway.
Mrs. Heddings enjoyed following her daughter’s sporting activities, boating, water skiing and spending time at the family river lot. She also enjoyed her 1974 Road-Runner and her Labrador retrievers.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Nicole E. Troutman, at home; a stepdaughter, Kimberly S. Heddings of Gainesville, Va.; a stepson, Joshua R. Heddings of Pearl River, N.Y.; a sister and brother-in-law, LuAnn T. and Thomas Mannion of Mechanicsburg; and a niece.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Paradise Street, Turbotville, with the Rev. Erwin C. Roux, her pastor officiating, assisted by the Rev. Barbara J. Collins of Follmer Lutheran Church, Milton. Burial will follow in Follmer Lutheran Cemetery, rural Milton.
