WATSONTOWN — Henry A. Hall Jr., 73, of Watsontown, died Friday, July 12, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born May 14, 1946, in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Henry A. and Kathryn M. (Catherman) Hall.
Henry was a 1964 graduate of Warrior Run High School. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army.
Being a workaholic and good with his hands, he worked a variety of jobs over the years, including working on furnaces and vehicles. Henry would later retired from Delaware Township.
Henry was a member of the Clyde F. Mowrer American Legion Post No. 323, Watsontown and Glenn Sharrow American Legion Post No. 35, Hughesville.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all, Henry had a big heart and loved helping others when they were in need.
Surviving are his companion, Mary Fry, of Watsontown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy A. and Maryanne Hall, of Kentucky, and Terry A. and Heather Hall, of North Carolina; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara A. and James Fallon, of Virginia; one brother, James Hall, of Utah; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Hall.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Watsontown Cemetery with Pastor Jason King officiating.
