WATSONTOWN — Lena Evelyn Kilgus, 91, of Musser Lane, Watsontown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19th, 2019, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehab.
She was born on October 22nd, 1927. A daughter of the late Judson and Violette (Burrows) Albertson. On February 26, 1950, she married Paul E. Kilgus and have celebrated 69 years of marriage.
Her greatest loves were her husband and family, her church and bird watching. She also loved traveling with her sister Mary and feeding the fish in the family pond.
Surviving beside her husband Paul is her son, Scott E. Kilgus and his wife Vicki of Watsontown. Also her adopted grandson Scott B. Kilgus and his wife of Watsontown. Two grandchildren: Stacey Kilgus-Cresswell and her husband Justin of Harrisburg. Kelly Kilgus and companion Cody Gavitt of Watsontown. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren: Trent and Damien Kilgus, Tenley and Khloe Cresswell and Kane and Wyatt Gavitt. One sister, Mary M. Taylor of Montgomery, and one brother Arthur J. Albertson of rural Watsontown.
Preceding her in death is her daughter E. Kilgus and Star Ellen Kilgus. Her Brothers Raymond “Pete” Albertson and George “Jim” Albertson. Two sisters Helen Albertson and Laura Burns.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be planned and held at the family’s convince.
