MILTON — William R. Sechler, 74, of Maple Avenue, Milton, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at RiverWoods in Lewisburg.
Born Nov. 1, 1944, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late William A. and Martha (Aucker) Sechler. He was married to the late Nancy (Showers) Sechler.
William was a 1963 graduate of Warrior Run High School and was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milton.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Callenberger Construction, Stopper Construction, and Hawbaker Construction.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking, and horseback riding.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chadd and Dawn Sechler of Turbotville; a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Thomas Wilson of Pleasant Gap; two sisters, Bessie Bush of Watsontown, and Myrtle Ranck of Nescopeck; and four grandchildren, Alicia Sechler, Megan Sechler, Damon Sechler, and Ethan Wilson.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; a brother, Paul Sechler; and a sister, Betty Wilver.
