MILTON — Doris M. Middlesworth, 76 of Mount Zion Road, Milton, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at her home.
Born Nov. 1, 1942, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Domer and Florence (Walburn) Murray. She was married on June 17, 1967, to Carson E. Middlesworth Jr., who survives.
Doris was a 1960 graduate of Warrior Run High School and was a member of the Watsontown Baptist Church. She worked for the New Quaker Factory Outlet in Turbotville and earlier for Zenith/Philco in Watsontown. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Family and friends were important to her. Doris was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her husband, Carson; a son, Lester Middlesworth and companion Wendy Moore of Curwensville; a daughter, Sue Fairchild and husband John of Watsontown; a brother, Lester Murray and wife Norma of Watsontown; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Watsontown Baptist Church, 501 Main St., Watsontown, where a memorial service will be held at 11 with the Rev. James Ritter officiating.
