LEWISBURG — Montour County District Attorney Robert Buehner Jr. has scheduled a press conference for 2 p.m. today in Lewisburg concerning missing Centre County district attorney Ray Gricar.
Gricar vanished April 15, 2005. He was last seen in the Lewisburg area. His 2004 Mini Cooper was discovered parked near the Susquehanna River in Lewisburg. Gricar’s laptop computer was recovered from the river in June 2005.
Officials from Buehner’s office would not elaborate on the nature of the press conference. Current Centre County District Attorney Michael Madeira said on Monday he was not aware a press conference had been scheduled. He also noted that he was not aware of any new developments in the case.
Union County Sheriff John Shrawder also said he had not been informed of the news conference.
