Flames gut Milton home

Milton, Pa. -

Firefighters from six local fire departments were called to battle a house fire at 866 Montour St., Milton around 11 a.m. Sunday.
An initial report issued by Union County Emergency Services said all occupants were able to escape the burning home uninjured.
Witnesses on scene reported seeing flames shooting from the roof of the house as volunteer firefighters worked feverishly to squelch the blaze.
The home appeared to sustain heavy damage in the fire.
Volunteer firefighters from Milton, Turbot Township, White Deer Township, Warrior Run, Montgomery and Lewisburg were all on scene.
