Milton, Pa. -

Milton police spent Friday afternoon searching for a green van which allegedly triggered a violent crash around 1:30 along Garfield Ave.
Initial reports from the scene indicate a Jeep grazed the side of the Bathesda Day Treatment Center building and rolled onto its roof after being struck by the van.
Police then fanned out across the borough in search of the van, which reportedly fled the scene without stopping.
An unidentified woman was extricated from the overturned Jeep by medics and transported to Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg for treatment of injuries.
Volunteers from the Milton Fire Department, an ambulance from the White Deer Township Volunteer Fire Department and a medic unit from Evangelical Community Hospital responded to the scene.
Anyone with information on the van should call Milton Police at 742-8757.
The crash occurred within minutes of the Milton Fire Department being dispatched to battle a small grass fire in the Mahoning Manor area.
Standard Journal will publish more details in its print edition when they become available.
