4-H provides for Project Linus

Members of the Good Time 4-H Club in Mifflinburg recently made blankets for Project Linus. While the club has worked with Project Linus for several years, last year saw increased participation from newer members. The group felt the mission of Project Linus fit their community goals and they unanimously voted to donate $500 in fleece fabric even stretching their budget by purchasing fleece when it was on sale or clearance. During work sessions after meetings, the group has made 27 blankets to donate. They plan to purchase more fleece to finish blankets that they didn’t have a chance to get done before the quarantine. Front from left, Sylvia Rishel, Kooper Haines, Tamira Lantz, Patricia Shively; and back, Rhys Klingler, Garrett Franck and Alec Klingler (missing is Chloe Hanselman).
