New members inducted into Kiwanis

At a recent meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Milton/Warrior Run, several people were inducted into membership. Pa. district governor of Kiwanis International, Michael Haven (third from left), and lieutenant governor for Division 12 South, Don Ulrich (fourth from left), were on hand to welcome new members (from left) Terri Cromwell, Peggy Emory, (Haven, Ulrich), Lisa McManus, Marsha Kouf, Dale Chomas and Tam Chomas. Missing from the photo is Liz Brewer. At the same meeting donations were given to Love INC, PA Kiwanis Foundation, Northumberland County Transitional Council, Warrior Run Defender Packs, Watsontown Police Chief Reed’s Christmas program, and homeless children in our area. Upcoming projects include decorating a Christmas tree in the Milton Public Library, joining several service organizations in providing gifts for Milton families in need, and helping at Milton’s Train Museum at the Milton Moose. Anyone interested in learning more about helping the children and families in Milton and Warrior Run can go to the Milton/Warrior Run Kiwanis page on Facebook.
