Information age gives voice to the voiceless

LEWISBURG — One of the leading figures of the information age both endorsed and offered a warning to persons devoted to the online world, such as serious users of Facebook, Twitter and many blog writers. Arianna Huffington, president and editor in chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, said the pros of the new media, as it is called, largely outweigh the cons.

“New media are bringing an enormous amount of good things,” Huffington said. “But there is also what I call the snake in the Garden of Eden.”
