Dr. Linda and Mr. Elliott Korb of Milton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Senta Korb of Astoria, Queens, N.Y., to Dr. David White of Philadelphia, son of Linda and Phillip White of Westbury, N.Y.
The bride-to-be graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a master’s from Cuny/Queens College. She is employed as a science teacher.
She is the great-granddaughter of the Rev. Abraham Winter, the first superintendent of the Evangelical Home for the Aged, Lewisburg.
Her fiance graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a doctorate from Cuny/Hunter College. He is employed as a postdoctoral fellow.
A June 28 wedding is planned.
